A Day Off From

A day off from all the doing,

The thinking and living,

To just relax and wind down this life,

Reset and stop with no guilt of today,

To not be focused but be in this moment,

Is a dream I fulfilled, A path I've taken,

A blessing I've discovered,

In the mix of all that's structured,

The unstructured is a great distraction,

From the constant moving toward goals,

That are past dreams that appear,

As great ideas that never be,

Making it as fast as a dream,

In the place of what I am seeing.
