Remember it is all for a season,

All for a lesson,

A healthy appetite is all I ask,

To do all things I can think of,

This day has ended well,

I look forward to the weekend,

Waking up is an art and skill,

To disengage from the wonderful rest,

Love looks at me with pain,

I wonder what I did to it,

I sit here and wonder,

How I reached here,

This extreme rest day,

Leaves me more dead than alive,

I look up and see myself,

Wondering why I stand alone,

I'll contradict myself and wonder out loud,

What interesting things make up this life,
