I stand and look all the way around,

It is empty and dready,

A lone tree in the midst of the desert,

I stand tall awaiting your presence,

Morning routines are sticky habits,

The same old road,

To walk through life with a fearful mind,

That doesn't want to explore new things,

As seasons change it gets so easy,

To take on more things that promise change,

Staring into the abyss of life,

I wondered if I'd ever get things done,

Am pleasantly surprised,

That the words never end,

The bones and muscles,

Cry out loud today,

The building and recognised efforts,

To pick up and follow through,
