Is life all it can be?

I want to live well today,

I’m not alone in spite of what I think,

I look forward to bringing things up,

It made sense in the present,

I'd tried and now I'm scared.

Life truly brings out the skanks,

The horrid and despicable,

Stepping down from the antics,

Of daily life and violent hate,

I look up and it is already dusk,

The endless dancing and working,

I woke up with a vision of myself,

Of the best and highest point in my life,

I look and see the road,

I've been in the ditch for so long,

This day that looks like all others,

This plan that makes me wonder,
