This life and daily grind,

Its unique way of reminding me of,

Everyday it is earlier and faster,

Is it that I'm older and more tired?

Waking up and sleeping in,

Standing tall and crawling away,

I look out and want to sleep in,

The endorphins high that comes from scrolling,

The dreams I have, I wonder too,

How I see things I cannot explain,

The start and end of what life brings,

The stirrings of where it all ends,

A life lived in tunnel bowels,

A hand out to work on this place,

I stand and look all the way around,

It is empty and dready,

A lone tree in the midst of the desert,

I stand tall awaiting your presence,
