Below the Surface
Below the surface I remain unconscious,
Steady breaths that drown the noise,
Words that Churn
The words that churn and mingle within,
I twist and turn but have to say it,
Stagnant Log
Like a stagnant log that doesn't move an inch,
In this dense forest that light barely penetrates,
Constant Banging
Constant banging and dreams of longing,
The unending desires to pick up anything,
