It's easy to write from a point of pain,

As we dig deep to uncover it's meaning,

To see the end is a dream of man,

But the wisdom of time reveals new paths,

Empty nest with no food to eat,

Testing my wings to see the new dawn,

As life and work merge together,

This time and work seems alot,

In an empty room across the valley,

The costly terms emerge and collide,

As I settle in and think this through,

When life seems to bring out the blues,

Through the murk and the dank,

As I struggle with decision,

Like a broken record,

Every end of the week I stumble,

As time moves along,

And life pulses and pauses,
