Yes It Is A New

Yes it is a new start,

Or how humans reset days,

An excuse to waste today,

With the hope that tomorrow had enough time,

To get back and grind in the burnout,

Yet am not that person today,

I don't need that fear as my life,

I look up and take stock,

I'll do a little today,

Just the highlights,

And wish me some rest in tomorrow's light,

Brewing the best tea I can muster,

As still tomorrow’s sunset and wish myself the best.
