Up and Down at Times

Things look up and down at times,

I'm afraid that this could be the end,

Of a beautiful time and idea pan,

But I won't write myself out,

As life brings a certain flavour to,

What I think and look forward to,

In my interest and happiness I understand,

That life is all and not everything I know,

Throughout my time I wonder why,

It takes such pain to achieve success?
