This Forsaken Place

Happiness
Written by Milly O

Bright yellow in this forsaken place,

A stark reminder of birth and life,

I'm impressed and happy with it.

I linger here and bask in light,

Of this goodness,

Blooming in unlikely places,

So I'll dance and await its exposure.
