In My Dreamless State
In my dreamless state,
I laid down and didn't think,
See or know what this meant,
A little temptation is all I knew,
But it turned out into a disaster zone,
Piles of things I didn't want to confront,
So I sit here in this clean space,
No things that cause me to sin,
That death is not one I seek,
To be separated from my conscious,
My dreams and the path I look,
Deep down is the one for me,
So I ran away from the tempts,
That is a slippery slope,
Of endless debris that add up,
One wrong path into another one,
Down the drain in the sinking mud,
Never to be seen again.
