I'm Happy That I

I'm happy that I have come this far,

Family holds and steers me on,

At times I wonder whether I lack the grace,

Strength of ages to be farther than this,

Buy I fear retribution and the place called hell,

More so it defines the choices I make,

And here I stand not looking at temptation,

Far away from the pain it brings,

Desire and ambition are good and bad,

Trying to create a lasting peace,

Of endless time and tries as I move forward,

Towards this goal and that dream,

My past reincarnated in my future,

I step into the place of my winning.
